Dear Boy Scouts of America,

I salute each of you, and I am honored to have been asked to share in your "Operation On Target" experience. I have never climbed the mountains that you have climbed today, but everyone climbs "mountains" daily --- some of mine are on the basketball court and some are just part of day-to-day living. Some "mountains" are big and must be climbed carefully, other "mountains" are small and can be climbed easily.

I wish for you "small mountains" in your lives, but when you are faced with the big ones, I wish you the knowledge to know how to climb them. I always wanted to be a Scout, but I never was --- so thanks for asking me to share in your scouting experience. Stay healthy --- mentally and physically, drug-free!
